This is an arrangement
of the original version for English Horn and String
Orchestra - which was commissioned and premiered by
the Minnesota Orchestra, with Leonard Slatkin conducting
and Ferald Capps as soloist.
Patrick
McFarland, solo English hornist with the Atlanta Symphony,
performed this version at the 1996 International Double
Reed Society
(IDRS) Conference.
